Trident literacy Association

The Trident Literacy Association is a locally based organization that offers individual and small group literacy instruction for adults. Kevin Smith has served as the Chairman of the Board since 2010. Hoffman Law also co-hosts a Cinco de Mayo event which donates a portion of its proceeds to the Trident Literacy Association.

Darkness to Light

Darkness to Light is a Charleston based non-profit with the mission of empowering people to prevent child sexual abuse. Hoffman Law is a major financial contributor, producing public service announcements to help promote the organization in addition to our monetary donations.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Susan G. Komen is a national non-profit that raises awareness and supports research breast cancer. It also offers grants and advocates for better breast cancer policy with the ultimate goal of ending breast cancer. Hoffman Law Firm support the Susan G. Komen cause and raises awareness for breast cancer by painting the columns of our office building pink each October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Come Clean for Jae

This is a grassroots campaign that began to honor a local man, Jathon "Jae" Bellamy, who was killed in a hit-and-run accident while cycling in North Charleston, S.C. in February, 2015. The campaign hopes to help identify Jae's killer and improve safety conditions for cyclists in South Carolina. We support the effort to identify and bring to justice Jae's killer by providing a $19,000 to the reward for information leading to an arrest. Hoffman Law also produced TV ads seeking tips from viewers, and we are representing Jae's family free of charge.

Kid's Chance

Kid's Chance is a part of a national network of organizations that offers assistance and support to the children of parents injured or killed on the job. Hoffman Law Firm offers financial contributions to Kids' Chance.

Abby's Friends

Abby's Friends is a local organization aimed at educating the public and supporting research toward a cure for Type I or Juvenile Diabetes. It also works to improve the quality of life for those suffering from Type I Diabetes. We are financial contributors to the Abby's Friends cause and Hoffman Law also donates items for the organization's auctions.

Camp Happy Days

Camp Happy Days is a South Carolina based organization that offers children suffering from cancer a free way to enjoy being a kid. The non-profit invites kids for a carefree summer camp experience during which they can forget about cancer and embrace being children. Hoffman Law Firm is a financial contributor to Camp Happy Days. We also participate in the organization's annual fundraiser, a "bed race" for which David Hoffman serves as a judge.

American Heart Association
